TO ALL BASS BUSTERS Our next business meeting will be Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the Shrine Club. MINUTES FOR APRIL 4, 2006 MEETING Earl Sigley, president called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm. Roll call was taken with 17 members present. First order of business was the approval of the March minutes as posted or mailed. Motion made by Robert Jones and second by George Panick. The treasurer’s report was read and accepted by Pat Barbaro and second by Steve Rishel. OLD BUSINESS There are 72 teams in the Harkins at this time. Made the list of Harkins work party, and talk about the trailer and catch & release boat and tent. NEW BUSINESS Eric Smith caught an 8.28 pounds bass at Devil’s Kitchen Lake. May 13, 2006 fishing derby for 10 special children at the Shriner’s Home in Murphysboro. We are also buying T-shirts for them. Motion to pass was made by Terry Allen seconded by Pat Barbaro. FISH OFF REPORT Steve Rishel and Earl Sigley won the Devil’s Kitchen fish off which was held April 1, 2006. George Panick and Don Sanders won second place. Big bass was 2.53 pounds and was caught by Steve Rishel. There were 39 fish caught with a total weight of 28.98 pounds. Earl Sigley won the attendance drawing. |
